Booking Terms
General Policy
Changes and cancellations to bookings made up to 72 hours before the arrival date are without charge, unless booking a non-refundable rate. Thereafter the total value of the booking may be charged.
Nearby Construction
Network Rail are doing major works at the Rail Station close to the hotel and they have permission to work on site overnight (Since July 2024 there has been little if any overnight work close to the hotel). There may be inconvenience and disturbance during these works, now expected to be completed in 2025.
Parking
Car Parking is no longer available at Westgate Hotel.We have made an arrangement for our hotel guests to use a nearby car park at a reduced. Please contact Westgate Hotel directly for further details, prices and to make a reservation.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, other than in designated smoking areas outside the building. You must not smoke in any part of the hotel, or interfere with our fire detection system or with any emergency equipment. Your booking will be immediately terminated. We may impose a damages fine.
Damages
We may at our sole discretion request the payment of any damages caused to our property. Any damages costs may include specialist cleaning, repair or replacement of damage by you to our property, the cost of the room or facility for any period it is unusable and our administration expenses.As example, the loss of key/access card/fob will be charged at £65 exc. VAT.
Complaints
We ask that you contact the reception if you have any issue or complaint during your stay. Our staff will do whatever they can to find solutions to problems that have not lived up to your expectations. In this way, we are able to take care of the problem right away and, as far as it is possible, find a solution for you. Complaints may be rejected if you have failed to make contact during the stay.
Age restrictions
You must be aged 18 years and over to stay alone. We are not able to accept solo guests under 18 years of age.
Checking in
All occupants must be able to show photo identification (a driver's licence, passport or national ID card) matching the name(s) on the confirmed booking.It is a legal requirement for every guest aged 16 years and over who is neither a British nor Commonwealth citizen to provide at check-in a valid passport or National identification. If you are unable to produce this to the satisfaction of the hotel we may terminate your booking without refund.
Booking Cancellation Policy
Changes and cancellations to bookings made directly with the hotel can be made up to 3 days prior to arrival are without charge.
Bookings cancelled within the3 days before arrival will be charged a non-refundable cancellation fee of the total cost of the booking.
Bookings made via a third party may have different booking conditions.
